My Evolving Relationship with Anger

It’s late afternoon. I would rather be sitting at my desk, playing with words and scenes, finishing an article I started writing in the morning. But instead I’m rushing around packing snacks, filling water bottles, and finding gear for a play date in the park. I call out to my two boys very nicely, multiple times, to put on their shoes, and grab their sweatshirts. We really should have left ten minutes ago.
